Dhananjay Premjith, yes the Daddy Cool guy is here…

Master Dhananjay is known for his roles in Malayalam feature films like Daddy Cool, Trivandrum Lodge, David And Goliath, Ayal and Law Point. Dhananjay did schooling in the Loyola School in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

Dhananjay acted in the Malayalam mythological serial aired on the Malayalam channel Surya TV Sree Guruvayurappan directed by Vayalar Madhavankutty. Dhananjay played the role of young Shree Krishnan. The serial won the Atlas Film Critics Award under the Best TV Serial Category in 2008. Dhananjay acted as a child actor with the movie Orkkuka Vallappozhum written and directed by Sohanlal. Dhananjay played the role of child Sethumadhavan, whose teenage and old versions were played by Rejith Menon and Thilakan respectively. The film hit the screens on 9th January 2009.

Dhananjay got his big breakthrough in the Malayalam film industry with the drama movie Daddy Cool directed and written by Aashiq Abu. The film hit the screens on 7th August 2009. Dhananjay played the role of Adi Simon, the son of Anthony Simon played by superstar Mammootty. Dhananjay acted in the Malayalam comedy film Trivandrum Lodge directed by V. K. Prakash. The movie hit the screens on 21st September 2012. He won the Best Child Artist (Male/Female) award at the Asianet Film Awards in 2012 and an award at the Kochi Times Film Awards under the Best Child Artiste category in 2012. He also acted in the movie Poppins directed and written by V. K. Prakash. The movie hit the silver screens on 30th November 2012. Dhananjay’s first lead role came with the movie Pratheekshayode directed by Snoba Alex. Here he plays the role of Amal, a child obligated with the duty of looking after his blind aunt after the death of his parents. The movie hit the screens on 15th December 2012. Dhananjay’s latest work is the movie Crayons directed by Sajin Lal. In the film, Dhananjay plays the lead role. The Malayalam drama film hit the screens on 19th August 2016.

Dhananjay appeared on the game show Best of Kid’s Aswamedhan: Children’s Special alongside child actress Nayanthara Chakravarthy also known as Baby Nayanthara. The episode was aired on the Malayalam channel Kairali TV on 28th March 2015. Dhananjay and Nayanthara also appeared together on Episode 33 of Comedy Super Nite. This episode was aired on the Malayalam channel Flower TV in 2015. Dhananjay and Nayanthara have worked together in films like Trivandrum Lodge and Poppins.
